[edit]Hallo, I reverted your picture of Ponte Sisto (which is beautiful anyway) since the bridge is barely visible, and we need a picture which shows the bridge in full details. Maybe you could insert it below in the article. Thanks, Alex2006 (talk) 06:38, 23 June 2015 (UTC)

April 2016
[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Rome. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Courcelles (talk) 18:51, 18 April 2016 (UTC)

Unblocked
[edit]Hi Livio. I just wanted to let you know I've removed your unfair block on Commons. I'm ready to lose my adminship for the principle of it. How can I, as an admin, see an unfair block; see a person appealing a block and being ignored, and just say nothing and do nothing? How can I be an admin and allow something I consider unfair to continue on without doing anything to change it? If I have to do that, then being an admin just isn't worth it to me. My heart has to be free from fear. Fear of losing adminship, fear of the people who blocked you, fear of anything. Why be on Commons, If I have to be afraid of what I do, and the normal ways of appeal are unfairly prescribed. Tuvalkin can say sorry, and his blocklog is way longer than yours, and people say: yeah give him another chance, he's a human being he makes mistakes. And what about you? You're a human being and deserve a second chance too. We'll see how it goes. If they desysop me again, I'll just do some regular stuff, and not worry about it. If you do get a second chance now, it's up to you what you do with it. Whatever you do is all up to you. You're a grown man, and it's all up to you. I just think you should have that chance after 3 months of being blocked. I did this for both of us. Take care. lNeverCry 03:05, 4 December 2016 (UTC)

Santa Maria Maggiore is a major basilica dedicated to the Virgin Mary and the largest Catholic Marian church in Rome. This picture shows the interior of the dome of the basilica's Pauline Chapel, frescoed by Italian painter Cigoli between 1610 and 1613. It depicts the Assumption, with Mary being lifted up towards heaven, while the apostles, some standing and others seated, look on. She holds a sceptre, and around her, the heavens open and choirs of angels rejoice as cherubs cavort. At the apex of the cupola, God the Father is represented crowned by seraphim. Built by order of Pope Paul V, the chapel houses the image of Salus Populi Romani, and is built of marble and richly gilded and frescoed throughout. Depicting a scene from the Book of Revelation, it occupies the interior of the dome, and the surrounding pendentives, of the Benedictine church of San Giovanni Evangelista in Parma, Italy.
